Our philosophy

Rozmari began to restore in 2015. Throughout this painstaking process, traditional methods and materials (both old and newly crafted from local sources) were employed. During the restoration process, a great deal of original and local materials were used: greek marble , Cretan stone . Many craftsmen from the surrounding region, whose skills have been handed down from generation to generation, contributed their passion and know-how to this masterpiece as well.

During your stay , you will discover this original construction . The twinkling lights , the warm colors , the unique paintings and the modern furnishing create an effect of romantic elegance warmth and an intimate atmosphere that both relaxes and refreshes.

Enjoy your stay and explore our pebbled courtyard , which is a romantic oasis. Here you can read, relax or simply enjoy a cup of coffee accompanied with home- made delicacies.
If you decide to step outside , you stroll to all the main attractions, shops and lively bars and beaches . The building is located between harbor and beach.

Another important pillar our philosophy is based on a cultivation and celebration of the human element in warm, sincere and welcoming hospitality – a well-known point of pride throughout Greece. Visitors to Rozmari may be surprised by the friendly (and at the same time consummately professional) attitude and performance of the entire staff, who are genuinely eager to welcome visitors to this little corner of paradise in the southern Crete. This is their home, and it gives them both pride and pleasure to share it with our guests.
